About Marymount Care Centre

Established in 1987 Marymount is a family owned and operated Care Centre. It is purpose built and situated in the picturesque Liffey Valley off the Strawberry Beds close to the village of Lucan, Co. Dublin surrounded by open countryside.

Marymount Care Centre was the first Nursing Home registered in Ireland under the Health Care Nursing Homes Act 1990. We are a quality assured ISO 9008 service.

Friends of Marymount
This is a voluntary group, which consists of  a number of Residents, Relatives, Friends and Staff whose objective is to promote community involvement and enhance the quality of life of the Residents within our setting. Activities such as, organised outings, events, cinema evenings, family events, crafts, gardening etc. are coordinated. 
We encourage our Resident’s participation in local events as well as promoting all forms of community and social interaction. Our wheelchair accessible vehicle (the Marymount Shuttle), is available when required.

Support Services
We have a high level of support from visiting Doctors and allied Health Professionals. We welcome very much the support and participation of the Parish Team in assisting us in the delivery of our Spiritual Care.
